The firm
A company that takes one big thing seriously
INGEMEX was started by people who had spent half their working lives in fire protection and wanted to do it their own way: no middlemen, no sales reps, and no promising dates we cannot keep.
We run a quality system based on ISO 9001. That is not a plaque for the wall. It is the reason we can tell you which extinguisher in which building was checked, on what day, and who signed for it.
There are few of us, and that is deliberate. Taking on fewer sites means we actually know them: where every hose reel sits, what was replaced last year, and what is due now.
We commit to the work being done properly and to the result — not to the paperwork.
In-house engineering
We don't subcontract technical judgement
Most companies our size install what somebody else designed. We don't. We have a chartered mechanical engineer on staff, specialised in fire protection, and he assesses the site before anyone picks up a tool.
That changes the conversation. We can tell you what the regulations genuinely require for your activity and your floor area, what you are being oversold, and what you are missing to pass an inspection without surprises.
And if the design comes from outside, we still review it. We would rather argue over a drawing than open the same wall twice.

Chartered Engineer · Mechanical
A fire protection specialist. He assesses the site, decides what the regulations demand in each case, and signs off the technical judgement. If your project has an awkward question in it, it ends up on his desk.
Administration
Mari Reche Vilalta
Administration
Over 15 years in fire protection. She runs the renewal dates, the certificates and the inspection reminders. She is the reason nobody's quarter ever slips.
Operations
Ángel Molano Castaño
Certified operations technician
Over 30 years in the trade. He is the one up the ladder, testing the pressure and signing the tag. He has seen every kind of installation and spots a problem before the cabinet is open.

Passive protection
And what holds while people get out
Passive protection makes no noise and never switches on. It just buys the minutes evacuation needs.
Fireproofing
We treat beams, walls, ceilings and structure with materials rated for each use, so the element holds the fire resistance the regulations demand of it.
Fire rated doors
Supply, installation and maintenance of fire doors, with their ironmongery, closers and seals. The right door, in the right opening.
Assessment engineering
We survey the site and tell you what the law requires in your specific case: what you comply with, what you don't, and the sensible order to fix it in.

- RD 513/2017
Fire Protection Installations Regulation
Known as RIPCI. It sets which equipment is required, how it is installed and how often it must be inspected. Our whole maintenance calendar is built on it.
- RD 164/2025
Update to the regulatory framework
Updates requirements and obligations on top of the previous regulation. It is already built into our inspection protocols, and we will tell you what affects you.

Quality management system
Our quality system is based on this standard. It is where the traceability of every unit, the records and the quality policy come from.

We work out of Vallès and serve all four provinces. If your sites are spread out, we handle every one of them: a single point of contact and a single inspection calendar.
